A unique 1933 de Havilland Leopard Moth is available, unique in that it is undoubtedly the oldest aircraft to have flown across the Atlantic, to Oshkosh in the hands of Sir Torquil Norman in 1999. While all the long range fuel tanks have been removed they come with the aircraft.

Equipment includes Nav Com with VOR and DME, tran-sponder and 8.33 radio and much else. On a CofA and has a new NARC.

Aircraft fully rebuilt in 1994 by The Newbury Aeroplane Co, no expense spared, 500 hours total since!
Fitted with a Vintec Gipsy Major 1c engine now at only 475 hrs and Fairey Reed propellor.
All in ready to go condition.

The de Havilland Leopard Moth was Geoffrey de Havilland’s favourite aircraft, with very good reason, a delight to fly with comfortable seating for three and a five hour endurance even in standard trim. Easy folding wings for reduced hangarage and handling.
