Aircraft Description

Always hangared. I have owned it for about 24 years, I bought it from the first owner who died (bought it from family and promised the plane a good home). Do not need to sell it, but I just don't have time to really fly it anymore, so I figured if it gets a good new home I'll let it go. Complete engine overhaul about 200 hrs ago with Millennium cylinders. Same goes for prop+governor overhaul (Santa Monica Propeller). Total time 2415 hrs, Constant speed prop and the better 180HP engine ( vs. 177A model 150HP motor). New paint - complete stripping of old paint including treating all metal before painting = expensive paint job but it was done right. Metallic blue on the bottom, Matterhorn white on top. New paint has less than 3 hrs of flight time. New interior, all new plastics, sound proof new door seals, new seat belts, etc. Also aftermarket arm rest/storage compartment between front seats. Nobody has ever sat on the rear seats. New battery. Custom-made metal instrument panel with all new labels for each item (see in pics). Also the main instruments have round LED light strips built-in around them. Garmin 430 that was overhauled and made brand new by Affordable Avionics 5 flight hrs ago. King KX-155 radio, L3 Transponder with ADS-B Out brand new. Digital EGT/CHT gauge to replace inaccurate oil temp etc. Of course wired for headsets and each yoke has push-to-talk. Only ever flown by 18000+ hr ATP Gulfstream Captain + CFI-AIM, plane has always been flown very carefully without a single hard landing. No known damage history. All maintenance by air carrier maintenance department by Gulfstream Master Technician and 135 Gulfstream Crew Chief. All maintenance done by high-end professionals only. Cleveland brakes that have maybe 45 hrs on them, plus I never really use brakes anyway. All new tires. Rebuilt nose shock absorber. No corrosion. STC SA01757WI for UL94 Avgas. Only downside is that first airframe logbook is missing from the deceased previous owner - the family could not find it. That never bothered me since I pretty much rebuilt the whole plane anyway and everything was done anew since I bought it. It is the prettiest Cardinal in the world. Everything is already done - it is turn-key, and all of the above was done by professionals who knew what they were doing, cared for the plane, and no expense was spared. All items were done right. All pictures are May 2024. Aircraft hangared in Long Beach, CA (KLGB).
